Mining Penny Stocks Moving Positively on the TSXV

Cannabis stocks and cannabis penny stocks have been the most active sector on Canadian markets in 2018, but today there are a few mining penny stocks making a splash on the TSXV today.

Mining Penny Stocks: Aurelius Minerals Inc (TSXV:AUL)

Aurelius Minerals is a junior mining company that operates out of Vancouver, BC. The exploration company focuses specifically on mining gold in Canada.

Two days ago, the mining penny stock company announced that it continues to intersect significant gold mineralization at its Mikwam Property. The Mikwam Property is the second-largest gold property that Aurelius has 100% interest in.

“We are very excited as we continue to see significant intersections of gold mineralization in our drilling of the Mikwam Property,” stated Mark N.J. Ashcroft, P. Eng, Aurelius President, and CEO. “The Phase Two program continues to extend the existing mineralization and define the emerging higher-grade component of the Mikwam Gold Zone.”

According to Yahoo Finance, the mining penny stock is currently trading at $0.051 a share, up $0.001 (+11.11%).

Mining Penny Stocks: Prize Mining Corporation (TSXV:PRZ)

Prize Mining is a mineral exploration company headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. Prize focuses its mining efforts on gold exploration and holds properties in British Columbia.

Yesterday, the mining penny stock announced an update on its Kena-Daylight and Toughnut gold properties. 

“The Kena-Daylight and Toughnut Properties contain a significant gold resource and hold district-scale potential,” said Michael McPhie, President and CEO of Prize Mining. “With a Phase II drill program underway, and many untested targets, we are increasingly optimistic about the potential of this project in the historic and geologically rich region of southeastern BC.”

According to Yahoo Finance, Prize shares are trending in the green today. At the time of writing, the mining penny stock is trading at $0.15 a share, up $0.015 (+11.11%).
