SORL Auto Parts, Inc. (NASDAQ:SORL) has won multiple supply contracts from the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission, including one to be the exclusive supplier for Shanghai’s first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system.

SORL is to be the only supplier of electric air compressors to all buses on Shanghai’s municipal route 71. Even more exciting for the company, it is to be the exclusive supplier of electric air compressors to all buses participating in Shanghai’s very first BRT system.

Already, there are over 2,000 public buses in Shanghai’s municipal transportation system that use SORL’s electric air compressors; the addition of these contracts is sure to make that number soar.
