Oracle Receives Approval for Top-Secret Cloud Data

Oracle

Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL) announced that the United States Intelligence Community has authorized it to host classified Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) missions.

Oracle’s National Security Regions provide redundant and geographically separated data centers that meet the most stringent US classification standards for TS/SCI tasks. These areas are administered by US residents with government clearance and are only connected to classified networks. The Cloud Network Operations Centers, which are overseen by government-cleared engineers in the United States, maintain secure operations.

This latest approval permits the Intelligence Community to use more than 50 Oracle Cloud services across Top Secret networks, and further services will be made available through an ongoing accreditation process. These services include fundamental networking, computation, storage, and a variety of advanced cloud-native services that help to improve mission outcomes.

Oracle, a recognized technology partner of the United States government, provides a comprehensive array of modern data management solutions. The Oracle Cloud follows open cloud and data standards, and is supported by an architecture that incorporates artificial intelligence and machine learning. Oracle is used by both the US Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense for secure data management from collection through distribution. This collaboration is expected to increase Oracle’s revenue from America and Services.

The Consensus Estimate for revenues from America is $7.78 billion, representing an 8.23% year-over-year increase. The Consensus Estimate for Services revenue is $1.43 billion, representing a 5.78% year-over-year increase.
