JinkoSolar Helps Power Armenia’s First Solar Power Plant

JinkoSolar Holding Company Ltd. (NYSE:JKS) has provided Armenia’s first solar power plant with polycrystalline photovoltaic (PV) panels.

The 1-megawatt solar power plant in Armenia will be powered by 3700 of JinkoSolar’s high-efficiency polycrystalline PV panels, which should be operational for 25 years.

This isn’t the only contract the company has won thanks to its highly efficient PV panels. In September, its Canadian subsidiary received an order to supply 17 MW solar PV modules to Borea Construction ULC, which will be used in the construction of the Brooks Solar Project in Brooks, Alberta, Canada. JinkoSolar has also supplied 12.7 MW of PV modules to Hitachi Systems, Ltd.
