NextGen Applications Partnership

Reliq Health Technologies (TSX-V:$RHT) has posted a receipt from its first payment from San Antonio based company NextGen Applications. The payment was part of the two companies’ partnership that is looking to use RHT’s technology to develop a mobile health app for the San Antonio area.

The payment was the first $200,000 in a series of payments totaling $1.22 million. The contract gives NextGen access to professional services and RHT’s proprietary iUGO platform for the development of a mobile health app for use in the greater San Antonio area.

Reliq CEO, Dr. Lisa Crossley, stated that RHT was excited to be working with NextGen to bring their technology to San Antonio. Crossley also mentioned that their proprietary technology could help San Antonio residents to proactively manage their own health.

NextGen stated that the app would contain a bevy of features targeted at making healthcare more accessible to their users. Features mentioned including secure video consultations with nurses and doctors, automated prescription refills, a customizable healthcare calendar with push notifications, reminders, search tools for healthcare services, and a suite of billing and payment tools.

San Antonio has a population of over 1.4 million residents, making it the seventh most populated city in the US.
