Market Movers: MX Gold Corp Set to Acquire Cryptocurrency Company

On Friday, October 13, MX Gold Corp (TSX-V:$MXL) signed a letter of intent to acquire all the shares of Symple Internet Financial Ltd., a cryptocurrency/blockchain mining company based in Manitoba. This will be the company’s first foray outside the mineral exploration space and is intended to be a pilot project to determine whether further investment by the company in cryptocurrency is warranted.

Berkwood Resources Ltd (TSX-V:$BKR) has acquired the Roscoe vanadium property in the Cote-Nord area, Quebec. The property comprises 40 claims totaling 2,189.19 hectares in an area of known iron-titanium-vanadium mineralization.

Minsud Resources Corp (TSX-V:$MSR) is set to begin a 1,500 m drill program at its Chita Valley copper-molybdenum-gold-silver project in San Juan province, Argentina.

Chimata Gold Corp (TSX-V:$CAT) has entered a property purchase agreement with Bearclaw Capital Corp (TSX-V:$BRL) to acquire the Bam mineral property, which comprises 1,052 hectares located in the Pacific Golden Triangle mining district of British Columbia.
