Fisker Inc. (NYSE:FSR) has unveiled its expansion into three prominent European countries: Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. Customers within these fresh markets now have the opportunity to access dedicated national websites for reserving and placing orders for the highly anticipated Fisker Ocean.
The slated commencement of deliveries for these newly incorporated markets is set for the concluding days of September. Denizens of all three nations will experience the same streamlined direct-sales approach as their counterparts in other European markets. This entails not only the advantages of Fisker’s all-encompassing service and sales support but also embraces the innovative strategy the automaker has already implemented in Europe. This blueprint entails the establishment of retail outlets, as well as delivery and service centers strategically positioned near major urban centers.
While Fisker’s inaugural vehicle is currently making its debut in both European and American markets, the spotlight is on two specific models: the Fisker PEAR starting at an enticing $29,900, and the luxurious Fisker Ronin, commanding a base price of $385,000. As for the European markets, pricing details for these vehicles will be disclosed later in 2023.
The automaker has also shared in-depth insights into the Fisker Ocean Force E—an off-road package tailored for the Fisker Ocean, an all-electric sport utility vehicle. Henrik Fisker, Chairman and CEO of the company, emphasizes that Force E symbolizes the company’s commitment to ushering zero-emissions technology into the domain of off-roading, thereby challenging the longstanding dominance of internal combustion vehicles in this realm.
The Force E concept is meticulously crafted to optimize the exceptional torque, power, and best-in-class range of the Fisker Ocean, facilitating eco-conscious off-road adventures. This dynamic package will be available both at the point of vehicle purchase and as an add-on feature post-purchase. Initial availability is earmarked for the all-wheel drive Fisker Ocean One and Extreme trims, followed by its availability for the Ultra trim at a later juncture.
Key features of the Force E package comprise 33-inch tires fitted onto 20-inch wheels, heightened ground clearance, specialized dampers, front and rear skid plates, and a protective underbody plate. Notably, it introduces a distinctive off-road mode, which delivers performance-enhancing powertrain settings tailored for off-road excursions through over-the-air updates. An optional supplementary roof basket to further enhance the package will be offered separately.
Envisioned to be accessible by the first quarter of 2024, the pricing details for the Force E package will be communicated on the company’s official website at the commencement of reservation availability.
