The massive surge has temporarily halted the trading of shares three times in the first half hour after the market opened.

With this, shares of HOOD are up more than 85% from the IPO price of $38.00, pushing up the market cap to $58.8 billion from $29.1 billion after its debut. This is more than that of Twitter

The fund has accumulated $2.1 billion in AUM and witnesses volume of about 70,000 shares per day.
