TAT invites wellness bloggers and influencers from around the globe to participate in the latest Global Media/Blogger Fam Trip as part of the ‘Amazing Thailand Health and Wellness Tourism New Chapters New Experience’ project. Participants will travel along a route through Cha-am, Hua Hin and Pranburi between the 25th and 27th of July 2566, and the project aims to introduce participants to Thai Health and Wellness Tourism, promote and increase the value of tourism related products and services, and showcase the potential of Thai tourism brands related to health and wellness on a global level.
THAILAND, Bangkok, July 31, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Mr. Apichai Chatchalermkit, Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business at Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) revealed that TAT created the ‘Amazing Thailand Health and Wellness Tourism New Chapters New Experience’ project to improve the potential of Thai products in the Health and Wellness Tourism industry and enable them to stand out from the competition.
Following the Covid-19pandemic, there has been an increase in health awareness globally, with many nations using health and wellness services and products to attract tourists. Consequently, Thailand has been forced to reevaluate and introduce more outstanding products and services to remain relevant in this market.
“We decided to create the ‘Amazing Thailand Health and Wellness Tourism New Chapters New Experience’ project to reinforce and increase the value of Thai products and services in the health and wellness sphere. TAT invited business owners and entrepreneurs in the tourism industry (DMC) to come up with new tourism routes focusing on Health and Wellness Tourism under the concept of ‘Meaningful Wellness’ in an effort to adjust to the current market and meet the needs of our target group, Wellness Tourists across the globe.”
Aside from this, TAT has announced the Global Media/Blogger Farm Trip, an activity in which media partners, wellness bloggers and influencers from around the global join us for an experience based around ‘Meaningful Wellness’, an innovative new concept which promotes Health and Wellness Tourism and encourages DMC partners to participate in route design.
The Global Media Blogger Fam Trip follows a route through Cha-am, Hua Hin and Pranburi from 25-27th July and features leading international wellness bloggers and influencers, including guests from Italy and Australia and top Chinese influencer, singer and actress Ms. Zhang YIXIAO and Mr. Zhang Nan, actor and Chongqing TV host.
The Cha-am – Hua Hin – Pran Buri route was created by a tourism entrepreneur from Destination Asia Thailand as part of the ‘Restore Your Elemental Self to Balance’ project and reflects a lifestyle that restores balance to the body. The trip offers relaxation in luxurious surroundings, a range of treatments and therapies at Southeast Asia’s first therapy center, and a chance to enjoy the natural coastal surroundings of Hua Hin.
TAT are confident that the ‘Thailand Health and Wellness Tourism New Chapters New Experience’ project will bring about positive results for products and services in the Thai Wellness Tourism Industry and increase exposure for many Thai brands as part of a trip which centers around ‘Meaning Travel’.
