NRG Metals, Inc. (TSXV:NGZ) announced today that partner company AGV Falcon Drilling SRL has mobilized onto Salar Escondido in preparation to begin drilling for NRG’s initial drill hole on the property.
Last October 6th, the company had announced that they had completed drilling of a water well on the Salar Escondido property.
“We are very excited to commence drilling at Salar Escondido and to be working with AGV Falcon to explore this paleo-Salar where we own a majority the lithium rights in the basin,” said Jose De Castro, COO of NRG.
De Castro will also be overseeing the drill program.
AGV is reported to have extensive experience in drill Salar targets in their native Argentina. Their previous salar sites include Cauchari, Rio Grande, and Rincon.
NRG Metals is an exploration stage company that specializes in advancing lithium brine projects in Argentina. The company has evaluated several sites, including the 3,287 hectare Hombre Muerto North lithium project in the Salta province, located on the north end of the famous Hombre Muerto Salar.
The company filed an Environmental Impact Study and applied for all necessary permits on July 13, 2017.
They currently have 73,905,885 shares issued.
